Why a small room costs more per square foot
A door and its parts cost the same in a small cabin as in a large one. A small room has far less glass to share that cost. So the price per square foot is higher.

Privacy in a consulting room
We use full-height glass, sealed at the top and both sides, with a door that shuts properly and no gap at the floor. That brings a normal talk down to a low murmur outside.
A partition that stops short of the ceiling will not do that, whatever it costs. We would rather say so before you spend the money.
Frosting up to windowsill height, or a fully frosted panel, hides what people can see. Frosted glass is cloudy so you cannot see through it. We price frosted glass by how much of it we treat. So decide how much of the panel needs it before you approve the price.
