In a hotel or an office beside an interchange, the entrance doors do several times the work of an ordinary commercial door, and they fail in a predictable sequence. Catching that sequence early is the difference between a morning's work and replacing a door, and on a building that cannot close it matters more than the cost.
The failure sequence on a door used all night
A floor spring weakens gradually rather than suddenly. First the door stops closing the last few inches, then it begins to sag, then the bottom patch fitting works loose and the glass starts to crack at the corner.\n\nAt the first stage it is a spring and a few hours.\n\nAt the last it is usually a new leaf and a much longer closure, which on a hotel entrance is genuinely disruptive. So a door that has stopped latching cleanly is worth acting on immediately rather than adding to a list.

- You get a written priceIt lists each item, with GST as its own line. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Our own team fits the work, checks that every door and window opens and closes properly, and clears up. Most jobs are done in 3 to 4 days.
