Window Gap Sealing across Delhi
Mosquito-borne illness in Delhi peaks after the monsoon. A cracked joint around a window frame gives mosquitoes a way in. Net on the shutters does not cover it. Ants use the same path, and so does dust.
Run a torch around the frame edge at night. A dark slot, or light from outside, shows an open joint. We cut out the loose filler and pack the depth with a foam cord called backer rod. We finish with outdoor-grade sealant on both faces of the wall.
