Work in the old sectors and around Sadar Bazaar is shaped by the streets rather than the buildings. Access is tight, frontages are narrow and almost nothing can be delivered to the door during the day. The glazing itself is ordinary shopfront and cabin work; the logistics are what need planning.
Working out how the glass actually arrives

Frontages that are not square
Buildings here have been altered and rebuilt piecemeal over decades, and shopfront openings are frequently wider at the top than the bottom or out of plumb at one side.\n\nA frontage cut to a single width will not fit an opening like that.\n\nSo we template irregular openings rather than measuring them — taking the actual shape rather than two numbers. It costs a little more and the glass goes in first time, which matters when the alternative is a shop standing boarded for another week.
