Shower Door Hinge Replacement across Delhi
From October to January, Delhi's air is heavily polluted. Many people keep their windows shut in those months. A bathroom with a shut window holds its steam for longer. Steam is what wears out a shower hinge, because it reaches the pivot and spring inside.
Many people call the hinge a kabza. The first sign it has worn is a door that clicks or no longer swings freely. Rust spots around the screw heads come next. We change the pair for hinges that are stainless inside, and we set the door level.
We come to DDA flats, older colonies and builder floors across Delhi. That includes Dwarka, Rohini, Greater Kailash and Mayur Vihar. We cut seized screws instead of forcing them, so your wall tiles stay whole.
Is this the right service for your job?
Choose this when worn or corroded hinges let a shower door drop.
- If the hinges are sound but the door is out of line, see the Glass Door Alignment. Adjustment may restore the door position without changing parts.
- If leaks, loose fixings and door movement need checking together, see the Shower Cubicle & Glass Door Repair. It inspects the enclosure before deciding which parts need replacing.
What shower door hinge replacement covers
A shower door hinge holds the glass door to the wall, or to a fixed glass panel. It gets wet and steamed every day, and hard water dries into scale on the metal. In time the hinge stiffens, rust appears at the screws, and the door sags until it scrapes. The glass is usually fine. We fit new bathroom-grade hinges to the holes already in your door, seal them, and set the door level. Book a visit online for the hour that suits you, or call or WhatsApp us with a photo of a hinge. We check the door, confirm the price, and change the pair. From ₹2,600 a pair, supplied and fitted.
How a Delhi visit goes
- Tell us about the job. Send a few photos, rough sizes and what you need. Use WhatsApp or the form. For a repair, a short video of the door moving helps a lot.
- We call you back in about 2 minutes. We confirm what you need and a time to visit. Where we can, we give you a rough price on the call.
- We come and measure. We measure the opening and check the walls, floor and ceiling around it. Anything made to size is made to these measurements, so they must be right.
- You get a written price. It lists each item, with GST as its own line. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We fit it. You approve the price and pay the advance. Our own team fits the work, checks that every door and window opens and closes properly, and clears up. Most jobs are done in 3 to 4 days.
