Repairs out here are usually quick, and the reason is dull but real. The van parks at the door, the buildings are low, and nothing has to be carried far. So the only question left is whether we brought the right part. And that is a question you can answer for us on the phone.
Fittings finish today, glass does not
The van carries the common hinges, rollers, seals, clamps, handles and door closers. Anything that bolts on is changed while we are there.
Glass cannot be. Toughened glass (safety glass) is cut and drilled before it is made hard. So yours is made to your size and fitted on a second visit. Nobody keeps your size in stock.
When a panel is broken, we make the opening safe on the first visit. Nothing is left sharp or hanging while the new glass is made.
What goes wrong in these houses
Shower doors are the most common call. Seals harden, rollers wear flat, hinges go loose, roughly in that order.
After that it is stair and balcony railing panels, which take knocks from furniture, and window glass in the older villas.
Railing glass is the one thing we replace rather than adjust. A chip on the edge removes the strength that toughening gave the panel. A railing is the wrong place to find that out.

- You get a written priceIt shows the glass, the fittings and the fitting work as separate lines. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We make it and fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Then we make your glass. Our team delivers it, fits it, checks the doors line up and clears the site.
