Repairs here split by which side of the Ring Road you are on. In the campuses it is nearly always an office door that has lost its closing control. In the towers it is a shower enclosure whose hinges, seals or silicone have failed. Both are fittings problems, not glass problems. And both are much quicker if we know what has failed before we travel.
The office side
A cabin door opened hundreds of times a day slowly loses its control at the floor spring. You see it slam, drift open, or fail to shut.
The rest is alignment. A lock that no longer meets its catch. A handle out of line. Or clamps that need tightening.
Getting a team in still needs worker IDs, and often a lift slot. But campuses are usually easier about a short repair than a night of fitting. Send a video of the door moving and the right part will be on the van the first time.
The tower side
In a bathroom the parts that fail first are the hinges, the door seal and the silicone. The glass is almost never the problem.
If the glass is sound and only those have gone, that is a real repair, at a small part of the cost of a new enclosure. We will say so.
If the frame has rusted and the silicone has failed behind the tiles too, fixing one of the three only lasts a few months. Send a photo of the door edge and the bottom track. Remember that a gate pass and lift slot are still needed even for a short visit.
How the job works
- Tell us about the jobSend a few photos, rough sizes and what you need. Use WhatsApp or the form. For a repair, a short video of the door moving helps a lot.
- We call you backUsually the same day. Where we can, we give you a rough price on the call. Then you know if a visit is worth your time.
- We come and measureWe measure the opening. We also check the walls, floor, ceiling and the way in. Your glass is made to these final sizes, so they must be right.
- You get a written priceIt shows the glass, the fittings and the fitting work as separate lines. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We make it and fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Then we make your glass. Our team delivers it, fits it, checks the doors line up and clears the site.
