Repairs here split by building. Near Manyata it is an office door that no longer closes properly. In the lakeside towers it is a shower enclosure with worn hinges, seals or silicone. In both cases the glass itself is usually fine. And in both cases the access takes more arranging than the repair does.
Office doors on a campus floor
The floor spring is the usual cause. This is the closing part fitted into the floor. A cabin door opened hundreds of times a day wears it out slowly. You see the door slam, drift open, or fail to shut.
The rest is alignment. A lock that no longer meets its catch. A handle out of line. Or clamps that need tightening.
Getting a team in still needs worker IDs, and often a lift slot. Campuses are usually easier about a short repair than a night of fitting. Send a video of the door moving. Then the right part is on the van the first time.
Shower fittings in the towers
In a bathroom the parts that go first are the hinges, the door seal and the silicone. The glass is almost never the problem.
If the glass is fine and only those have gone, that is a real repair. It costs much less than a new enclosure.
If the frame has rusted and the silicone behind the tiles has failed too, fixing one of the three only lasts a few months. Send a photo of the door edge and the bottom track. Remember, even a short visit still needs a gate pass, and often a lift slot. So tell us the tower name on the first call.
How the job works
- Tell us about the jobSend a few photos, rough sizes and what you need. Use WhatsApp or the form. For a repair, a short video of the door moving helps a lot.
- We call you backUsually the same day. Where we can, we give you a rough price on the call. Then you know if a visit is worth your time.
- We come and measureWe measure the opening. We also check the walls, floor, ceiling and the way in. Your glass is made to these final sizes, so they must be right.
- You get a written priceIt shows the glass, the fittings and the fitting work as separate lines. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We make it and fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Then we make your glass. Our team delivers it, fits it, checks the doors line up and clears the site.
