Most repairs here are shower fittings, a railing panel, or window glass in a mid-rise flat. None of them are hard. What takes the planning is the lane outside, and getting the right part on the van before we set off.
Send us a photograph first
Two pictures usually decide whether this is one visit or two.
One of the whole door, panel or window from a few steps back, so we can see the type and roughly the size. One close up of the part that has failed.
From those we can load the right hinge, roller, seal or closer before we leave. Coming down a lane like yours twice wastes your day as much as ours.
Railing panels are a replacement, not a repair
Cracked or chipped railing glass is the one thing here we will not patch.
Toughened glass (safety glass) holds its strength in its surface and its edges. Damage there means the panel can break later, with nothing touching it. On a stair or a balcony, that is not a risk worth carrying.
We measure it on the first visit and make the panel to size. In the meantime we can make the gap safe, so the stair or balcony stays usable.
How the job works
- Tell us about the jobSend a few photos, rough sizes and what you need. Use WhatsApp or the form. For a repair, a short video of the door moving helps a lot.
- We call you backUsually the same day. Where we can, we give you a rough price on the call. Then you know if a visit is worth your time.
- We come and measureWe measure the opening. We also check the walls, floor, ceiling and the way in. Your glass is made to these final sizes, so they must be right.
- You get a written priceIt shows the glass, the fittings and the fitting work as separate lines. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We make it and fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Then we make your glass. Our team delivers it, fits it, checks the doors line up and clears the site.
