Around Maruthi Seva Nagar, Kacharakanahalli and Horamavu the lanes are narrow, parked on both sides, and often one-way in practice if not on paper. A van standing outside your building becomes everybody's problem within minutes. So we plan the carry before the glass is made, not on the morning.
Where the van stands, and how far we walk
Sometimes the van reaches your gate. Often it stops at the top of the lane and we carry the panels the rest of the way.
A glass panel carried by hand along a lane needs clear ground and people on both sides of it. So we want to know the distance before the day. It decides how many of us come.
We unload first and move the van out, then carry. That order sounds obvious. It is what keeps your neighbours out of the argument.
Mid-rise flats without a service lift
Most blocks here are four or five floors with a passenger lift. A passenger lift will not usually take a full-height panel.
What matters is the corner-to-corner length inside the car and the height of the door, because the glass goes in tilted. We measure both on the same visit as the bathroom.
Where it will not go, the panel goes up the stair, or the run gets split with a slim connector. Both are normal. What is not normal is finding out on delivery day. That is why we measure the route every time.
How the job works
- Tell us about the jobSend a few photos, rough sizes and what you need. Use WhatsApp or the form. For a repair, a short video of the door moving helps a lot.
- We call you backUsually the same day. Where we can, we give you a rough price on the call. Then you know if a visit is worth your time.
- We come and measureWe measure the opening. We also check the walls, floor, ceiling and the way in. Your glass is made to these final sizes, so they must be right.
- You get a written priceIt shows the glass, the fittings and the fitting work as separate lines. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We make it and fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Then we make your glass. Our team delivers it, fits it, checks the doors line up and clears the site.
