Fitting an enclosure in a Bellandur tower is half a glass job and half a delivery job. The bathroom itself is simple. Getting a toughened panel from a vehicle at the gate up to a twentieth floor flat is not. It needs a gate pass, a booked service lift, the association's working hours, and a lift that may not take a panel over a certain length.
The lift comes first
This is the most important thing about working in these towers. A service lift has a fixed inside size. A panel that will not go into it will not go up the fire stairs either.
So we measure the lift as well as the bathroom, on the same visit. When one panel is too big to go up, we make the enclosure as two panels joined with a glass connector. That is completely normal, and hard to see from a few feet away.
What we will not do is send a delivery to a lift it cannot fit in. A made-to-size toughened panel fits nowhere else.
Old flat or newly redone flat
The towers here range from fairly new to about twenty years old. That decides the style, not taste.
In a bathroom that has just been re-tiled, frameless is the right answer and looks better. In an old bathroom in an older tower, the walls have usually moved a few millimetres. A slim aluminium frame takes that up inside the channel, where frameless cannot.
We check with a level at the measuring visit, against your real walls. We do not sell the dearer option by default.
The paperwork, which we handle
A gate pass, worker IDs, a service lift booking, and the association's working hours. Most blocks here want it a day ahead, and a few need the flat owner to apply in person.
We arrange all of it as part of the job. Give us the tower name at the first call. One call to the facility desk tells us the lift size and the hours.
That one call is what turns this from a job that might slip into one with a firm date.

- We come and measureWe measure the opening. We also check the walls, floor, ceiling and the way in. Your glass is made to these final sizes, so they must be right.
- You get a written priceIt shows the glass, the fittings and the fitting work as separate lines. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We make it and fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Then we make your glass. Our team delivers it, fits it, checks the doors line up and clears the site.
