Tumkur Road runs through Yeshwanthpur and carries heavy goods traffic. Rooms facing it collect dust on every sill. Dust packs into the bottom track of a sliding aluminium window. The rollers then grind, and the window stops short of the frame. We lift the sliding panel out, clean the track and fit new rollers. The lock is changed too if it no longer catches.
