Kanakapura Road is a newer stretch of south Bengaluru. New windows can leak as badly as old ones. The cause is usually small. Drain holes in the frame get blocked, or the sealant around the frame has gaps. Sealant is the flexible filler between the frame and the wall. Rain then runs down the inside of the classroom wall.
Mark the leaking windows with tape during a shower, and photograph the stains. That shows us where the water gets in. We clear drains, reseal frames and change flattened rubbers. A door that faces the weather gets a seal along its bottom edge.
