Almost nothing in Banashankari is a first fitting. It is a bathroom being redone after fifteen or twenty years. Or a framed enclosure gone cloudy. Or a sliding door that came off its track and never went back right. That is a different job from a new flat. It needs a different talk before anyone quotes a price.
Repair or replace, answered honestly
It depends which part has failed. We would rather tell you than sell you the bigger job.
If the glass is good and only the hinges, seals or handle have gone, a repair is real value. A new enclosure would cost several times more.
If the frame has rusted, the seals have gone hard and the silicone has failed behind the tiles, that is what twenty years looks like. Fixing one of those three only lasts a few months, and you pay for the visit twice. Send a photo of the door edge and the bottom track. We will tell you which it is before anyone travels.
Why a frame often suits these bathrooms
Walls move over time. After fifteen or twenty years, many of these bathrooms are a few millimetres out of straight. Frameless glass has almost no room to take that up.
A slim aluminium frame takes it up inside its channel, usually costs a little less, and hides a lot.
If your bathroom has just been fully re-tiled, frameless is the right answer again and easier to keep clean. We decide with a level at the measuring visit, rather than push the more expensive option by default.
A bathroom you are still using
This is different from an empty flat. It changes how the day runs, not what it costs.
We cover the floor and fittings and put up sheets around the work area, so dust does not go through the house. The old enclosure leaves with us the same day, rather than sit on your landing.
A single bathroom takes half a day to a day, then about a day for the silicone to dry. If it is your only bathroom, tell us and we will fit in the morning so the drying time falls overnight.

- We make it and fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Then we make your glass. Our team delivers it, fits it, checks the doors line up and clears the site.
