The business parks, hotels and offices at this end of Bellary Road are a real distance from the city. That is the first thing we plan around. We do not make half-day trips out here. We come with the whole job loaded, the permits already raised, and we work a full day.
Permits before the van leaves
Business parks and hotels here almost all work on permits. A work permit, a gate pass to bring material in, a service lift or service corridor slot.
Raising those on the morning does not work, and a team standing at a gate is a day gone. So we ask what is needed at the quote stage. We give you our names, the van number and the material list to submit with.
We also need the allowed working hours in writing, not from memory. Some of these buildings allow noisy work only outside office hours. That changes when we start, not whether we come.
Working in a building that stays open
A hotel or a park does not close for a partition. So we do the work in sections, with the area screened off.
We agree the work area first and keep glass, tools and offcuts inside it. That one rule is what keeps a busy building safe while a panel is standing.
Drilling and fixing are the only really noisy parts, and they are short. Where the building wants them outside guest or office hours, we do that part separately and the quiet work in normal hours.
Repeat units are measured one by one
A lot of the work at this end is the same room over and over. Identical cabins in a park, identical rooms in a hotel.
We make a template from the first one and check every other opening against it. We do not make forty panels off one measurement.
The reason is simple. Rooms built to one drawing still differ by ten or fifteen millimetres once finished, and a panel is made to size. Checking each opening takes minutes. Remaking a panel takes days.

- You get a written priceIt shows the glass, the fittings and the fitting work as separate lines. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We make it and fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Then we make your glass. Our team delivers it, fits it, checks the doors line up and clears the site.
