Nearly every partition we build in Peenya is a cabin inside a shed. A supervisor's room, a quality desk, a small office at the front of the unit. The ask is always the same two things. See the floor while sitting down, and hear less of it. Glass does the first easily. The second needs more thought than most people expect.
Glass from desk height up
We build these with a solid base up to about waist height and glass above it.
That height is chosen with care. It puts the bottom of the glass just below the eye line of someone sitting down. So you can see the floor from your desk, without standing up.
The base does the surviving. Trolleys, pallet trucks and stock all end up against the lower part of a cabin wall sooner or later. A dented and repainted base is nothing. A broken toughened panel (safety glass) is a week and a new panel.
Noise, honestly
A shed is loud, and a glass cabin will not make it quiet. We would rather say that before you spend money than after.
What really cuts noise is closing gaps. A partition sealed at the top and bottom. A door that shuts against a seal on all four sides. A solid base instead of glass to the floor. Those three together make a real, clear difference.
Thicker glass on its own does much less. If we quote a heavier panel, it will be for strength or panel height, and we will say which. We will not sell you thick glass as a noise fix.
Ground access means fewer joins
This is the easiest kind of site we work on, and it shows in the finished cabin.
The van reverses up to the shutter. Panels come off and go straight in, standing up, with no stair and no lift door to get through.
So the panel size is set by your cabin, not by the building. A long run that would need two panels and a join elsewhere is often one clean panel here. And with full working days in most units, the fitting finishes faster than on a site with limited hours.

- We come and measureWe measure the opening. We also check the walls, floor, ceiling and the way in. Your glass is made to these final sizes, so they must be right.
- You get a written priceIt shows the glass, the fittings and the fitting work as separate lines. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We make it and fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Then we make your glass. Our team delivers it, fits it, checks the doors line up and clears the site.
