Richmond Town and Langford Town are full of clinics, law firms and studios. They work out of old bungalows made into offices. Two things make this different from a normal office job. The rooms must keep a private talk inside. And people really look at the finish, because they sit in these rooms for an hour at a time.
Rooms where sound matters more than looks
This is what people ask us for most here. A room where a private talk stays inside, but the corridor still feels open.
Full-height glass, sealed at the top and both sides, with no gap at the floor. Add a door that closes properly. That brings a normal speaking voice down to a low sound outside. A partition that stops short of the ceiling will not do that, at any price.
Glass is not a solid wall. We will not pretend it is. But sealed full-height glass does most of what a clinic really needs. And it does not make the corridor feel closed in.
People pick the finish here
More than in most areas, people here choose their finish. They do not just take the standard one. Black and brushed fittings, frosted patterns, etched designs, low-iron glass (this has less green in the edge).
All of these cost more than standard chrome. Some add days to the making time.
It is best to decide before you approve the price, not after. Once a panel is being made, it is set for your opening day. If you change your mind on the finish, we start the panel again. We cannot just swap a part.
High ceilings in an old bungalow
Ceilings here are high. That is part of why these buildings feel nice to work in. It is also part of why the glass costs more.
Taller panels need thicker glass. A long run usually needs a support rod at the top. The rod ties the glass back to a wall or the building. A tall panel with nothing to brace it will bend.
That movement loosens the fittings over a year or two. Fixing that costs far more than the rod would have. Walls in these buildings also lean a little. So we check with a level before we choose between frameless glass and a slim frame.

- You get a written priceIt shows the glass, the fittings and the fitting work as separate lines. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We make it and fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Then we make your glass. Our team delivers it, fits it, checks the doors line up and clears the site.
