Offices along Sarjapur Road are usually newer and smaller than the Ring Road campuses. The company taking the floor often does not yet know how many cabins it will need next year. That changes what we suggest here more than it changes what we charge. It is worth saying before you order, not after your second rebuild.
Why we often suggest an aluminium frame
Because the layout will change. A team that takes a floor here with six cabins in mind often needs ten within a couple of years.
You can unbolt a slim aluminium frame partition and put it up somewhere else. A frameless one only fits an opening of exactly the same size, because toughened glass cannot be re-cut.
If the layout really is going to stay, frameless looks better and we will build it. But nobody should pay for a frameless floor they plan to move. We would rather price both side by side and let you choose.
An empty floor changes the order of work
Glass is not the first trade on an empty floor. It is one of the last. The flooring has to be down and level, the ceiling grid in, and the first electrical work done. All three decide how the top and bottom of a partition are fixed.
We are happy to come early and tell you where we fit into your plan, and what the other trades should leave for us. That visit costs nothing.
But the measurement we cut from waits until the site is finished. If the floor level moves by even a centimetre afterwards, the glass has to be made again.
How the job works
- Tell us about the jobSend a few photos, rough sizes and what you need. Use WhatsApp or the form. For a repair, a short video of the door moving helps a lot.
- We call you backUsually the same day. Where we can, we give you a rough price on the call. Then you know if a visit is worth your time.
- We come and measureWe measure the opening. We also check the walls, floor, ceiling and the way in. Your glass is made to these final sizes, so they must be right.
- You get a written priceIt shows the glass, the fittings and the fitting work as separate lines. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We make it and fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Then we make your glass. Our team delivers it, fits it, checks the doors line up and clears the site.
