A kothi here typically has an original bathroom, one added or rebuilt at some point in between, and one done recently. They look like one order and they are not: the walls, the tiling and the plumbing in each belong to a different era, and each needs a different answer.
Why one quote for the house would be wrong
The original bathroom usually has thick solid walls, old glazed tile and a floor laid before showers were enclosed.\n\nThe middle one has whatever was standard when it was done, often with pipework moved and nothing recorded.\n\nThe recent one is square, flat and drains properly. Frameless may suit the last, need a frame in the first, and depend entirely on what is found in the second. So we survey and price them separately, and say which is which.
The oldest bathroom is usually the most interesting
In the original bathroom the walls are genuinely solid, which is good for a fixing, and the corner is frequently a degree or two out of square, which frameless glass cannot absorb.\n\nThe floor also tends to have one drain that is not where the shower ended up.\n\nSo that room usually wants a slim frame and a footprint set to where the floor actually falls. It is the honest answer rather than the expensive one, and it is the room where getting it wrong shows first.
Doing them in an order the household can live with
Three bathrooms cannot all be out of use, and the household is living there throughout.\n\nSo the sensible order is least-used first and most-used last: everyone always has somewhere to go, and any surprise surfaces in a room nobody depends on.\n\nWe would also measure all three before ordering anything, even though they are fitted weeks apart, so the hardware is bought in one batch and actually matches. Ranges change, and matching later is largely luck.
