Nearly every enclosure we fit in Neharpar is a first fitting. The flat or house is empty, the tiles are new, and there is no old screen to remove. That takes real work out of the job and it opens up choices that an older bathroom does not offer - which is worth understanding before you decide what you want.
What a first fitting removes from the job
In a fifteen-year-old bathroom, a good half of the day goes on removal: cutting out the old screen, scraping hardened silicone back to clean tile, and finding out whether the wall behind is sound.
Here none of that exists. There is no seal to break, no tile to lift, and no chance of finding damp behind something that failed years ago.
What is left is measuring, making and fitting - which is why a first-fit enclosure goes in comfortably in a day, and why the price reflects work rather than archaeology.
Frameless is genuinely a choice here
Frameless panels are cut square, so they need walls that are close to square. In an older building they usually are not, and a slim frame becomes the practical answer whether or not it was what you wanted.
In a new build the walls generally are square, so the decision comes back to how you want the room to look and what you want to clean.
Frameless has less metal, shows the tiling, and makes a small bathroom look larger. A slim frame is more forgiving, seals more reliably at the base, and costs a little less. We put a level on all three walls while measuring anyway, because finish quality varies between builders and even between floors, but here either will usually sit well.
Measure after the floor, not before
This is the most common sequencing mistake in a new house or flat and it costs a week when it happens.
An enclosure is set off the finished floor. If tiles or stone are still to go down when we measure, the level will change, and toughened glass cut to the old level cannot be trimmed to the new one - it is remade, which is another three to five working days.
So we measure after flooring. If you are working to a tight completion date we will gladly come earlier and give you a firm budget from the drawings, but the measurement the glass is actually cut from waits for the floor to be down.

- You get a written priceIt shows the glass, the fittings and the fitting work as separate lines. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We make it and fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Then we make your glass. Our team delivers it, fits it, checks the doors line up and clears the site.
