Most people arrive with a picture of a bathroom they want, usually from a hotel or a magazine. That is a genuinely useful starting point, and it is worth being honest early about which parts of it come from the glass and which come from things that were decided long before any glass was ordered.
What in the picture is actually the glass
In most reference photographs the glass is doing less than people think. What produces the look is the tiling, the lighting, the fittings and the proportions of the room.\n\nThe glass contributes the absence of a frame and the clarity of the pane, and that is roughly it.\n\nSo we say which parts of a picture we can deliver and which belong to other trades. It is a short conversation and it prevents the disappointment of a correctly built frameless enclosure in a room that was never going to look like the photograph.
Where a hotel bathroom differs from a flat
Hotel bathrooms in these pictures are usually larger, purpose-built, and drained to a linear channel rather than a point outlet.\n\nThat channel is what allows a completely level, open shower area with no threshold and no visible fall.\n\nIn an existing flat, retrofitting one means taking up the floor. So we say where that is what the picture depends on, and offer the nearest achievable version — which is often very close and does not involve relaying a bathroom.
What genuinely does translate
Plenty of it does. A frameless panel, low-iron glass against pale tiling, minimal hardware, and running the glass to a wall rather than leaving a free-standing edge are all achievable in these bathrooms.\n\nSo is the single long screen separating a wet zone from a dry one, which is what most hotel bathrooms are actually doing.\n\nWe would rather point at the two or three things from your picture that will make the real difference than quote a specification that copies everything and delivers less than you hoped.
