Sohna is far enough out that a return visit costs most of a day, and that shapes how we work here rather than what we fit. Everything is aimed at finishing on the first attempt: more measurements than the job needs, and alternatives for anything that might turn out different from expected.
Measuring for a job we only want to visit once
Close to base, a missing measurement costs an hour. Out here it costs most of a day and delays the fitting by a week.\n\nSo we take more readings than the enclosure requires: every wall at three heights, both diagonals, the ceiling, the door swing and the route in.\n\nMost are never used. The point is that nothing can come up while the glass is being cut that would send somebody back. It adds twenty minutes to the survey and saves a week.
Carrying the alternatives rather than the assumption
The other thing that wastes a trip is a fixing that turns out to be wrong for the wall.\n\nSo we bring both: resin anchors as well as standard ones, both seal types and spare packers.\n\nIt costs nothing to carry and it means a trivial part cannot hold up the job. We would rather load the van heavily than explain why an enclosure is waiting on something that fits in a pocket.
Confirming the house is ready the day before
The commonest wasted journey is a bathroom that is not finished — tiling incomplete, sanitaryware not in, or nobody there with a key.\n\nAt this distance that is a serious loss for both of us.\n\nSo we confirm three things the day before rather than assuming: tiling done, plumbing in, somebody present. It takes a phone call and it prevents almost every wasted trip we have made out here.

- We come and measureWe measure the opening and check the walls, floor and ceiling around it. Anything made to size is made to these measurements, so they must be right.
- You get a written priceIt lists each item, with GST as its own line. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Our own team fits the work, checks that every door and window opens and closes properly, and clears up. Most jobs are done in 3 to 4 days.
