Three quite different kinds of home sit close together here, and the enclosure job differs in each — not in the glass, but in how it gets there and when it can be done. So the first thing we establish is which kind of building you are in, because it changes the plan more than the bathroom does.
Three buildings, three different plans
In an older low-rise block there is stair access, no booking and few restrictions, so a fitting is arranged directly with you.\n\nIn a builder floor the constraint is the staircase turn and the neighbours either side of it.\n\nIn a tower it is the service lift and the society's permitted hours. Same enclosure, three different arrangements — which is why we ask which you are in before offering a date rather than after.
Bathrooms that were fitted out by a builder
In the newer floors and towers here the bathroom came finished, and what is being replaced is usually a developer-specified enclosure.\n\nThe glass in those is normally sound; the hardware is where the cost was taken out.\n\nSo we check whether the existing panels can be re-hung on better hinges before quoting a full replacement. Where the hole positions suit, it is a fraction of the price. Where they do not, we say so rather than forcing a fitting that only nearly lines up.
Older blocks where the bathroom has never been touched
In the original low-rise blocks the bathroom is often entirely as built, with no enclosure of any kind.\n\nThose are the more interesting jobs, because everything is open: where the wet area goes, which way the door opens, whether a screen or an enclosure suits.\n\nWe mark the footprint on the floor and let you walk it before anything is decided. In a bathroom that has never had an enclosure, that ten minutes decides more than any choice about the glass itself.
How the job works
- Tell us about the jobSend a few photos, rough sizes and what you need. Use WhatsApp or the form. For a repair, a short video of the door moving helps a lot.

- You get a written priceIt lists each item, with GST as its own line. If anything about the job changes, we tell you before we go ahead.
- We fit itYou approve the price and pay the advance. Our own team fits the work, checks that every door and window opens and closes properly, and clears up. Most jobs are done in 3 to 4 days.
