A sliding glass door is a small system: the panel, the rollers, the track, the guides, the stopper and the lock. When one part goes wrong the whole door misbehaves. It sticks, jumps out of the track, will not lock, or leaves a gap that lets in dust and rain. We find the part that has actually failed and fix that. We do balcony doors, kitchen doors, office sliding partitions and shower sliders. A repair visit starts at ₹2,300.
The faults we see most
The door is hard to push, or judders. Usually worn rollers, sometimes a dented track.
The door jumps out of the track at one point. A missing or loose guide, or a bent section of track.
The door does not close all the way, or leaves a gap at the top or the side. The door has dropped on one side, so it is no longer square in the frame.
The lock does not catch. The keeper on the frame has moved, or the door has dropped so the lock no longer lines up with it.
Water comes in at the bottom in the rain. The drain holes in the track are blocked, or the weather strip has gone.
And on a shower slider, the door swings and rattles. The bottom guide has come off, and the door is only held at the top.
Finding the real cause
Most sliding door faults show up as one symptom but come from another part. A lock that will not catch is rarely a lock problem. It is a door that has dropped a few millimetres on its rollers, so the lock no longer meets its keeper.
So we look at the whole door, not just the part you pointed at. We check the rollers, the track, the guides and the stopper, and how square the door sits in the frame.
Most aluminium sliding doors have a small adjustment screw on each roller. Raising the dropped side a couple of turns often fixes the lock, the gap and the sticking in one go. That is a setting job, and it is charged as a visit.

Balcony and terrace doors in Bengaluru
Balcony doors take more weather than any other door in the flat. Dust settles in the track all year. In the monsoon, rain runs down the glass and into the bottom track.
The track has small drain holes to let that water out. When they block with dust, the water sits in the track, the rollers rust, and it comes in over the sill. We clear the holes and clean the track on every visit.
The weather strip, the brush or rubber along the edge of the door, wears flat after a few years. We replace it, and the gap that let dust in closes.

What decides the price
A repair visit starts at ₹2,300. That covers travel, up to two hours of work, cleaning and dressing the track, and any adjustment or setting. If the door only needs raising on its rollers and the guide reset, that is the whole price.
Parts are added on their own line. A pair of rollers, a lock, a new guide, a weather strip. Each has a fixed price, and we tell you before we fit it.
If the glass is cracked, that is a separate job, priced by the square foot, and we make the door safe on this visit.
Two or three doors in one visit share the travel, so each one costs less.
